IN THE COMMUNITY
There are many ways to enjoy the benefits of being in community at Baltimore Yoga Village from community classes, drop ins and courses.
Ayurveda (आयुवेद’) is one of the oldest natural healing systems in the planet, with roots on the Indian subcontinent. A sister science to yoga, it is both a preventative and healing medical science, which helps each individual move toward a state of total balance. In Ayurveda each person is treated as unique and the relationship between client and practitioner is sacred.
Amazing yoga studio! Teachers are so experienced, and really bring you to your fullest practice. Love everyone I’ve been to so far!
Me and my grandpa are loving yoga and we thank you nice peoples with our hearts.
” I really feel like I’m thriving under Deborah’s guidance. Did I mention that I am a fan? She reads us a poem during our starting and ending meditations, and there’s just a thoughtfulness about her that is rare”.
“Authentic and humble …. My safe space 🎶🎵🕉”
“I find this comforting that teachers here are trying to learn about their students and create a class that speaks to each person involved.”
The last class on Wednesday night is great! Being my first yoga class ever, it was great! I found it easy to follow along and found it to be a good workout. Thank you! Can’t wait to go back.
As I have told Anjali, Deborah and some of the other teachers I have encountered since re-starting my yoga practice after a 30 year hiatus, I am so happy and grateful…
When you walk into a class here that you have never been to, the teacher introduces herself/himself and asks about your level of experience. I find this comforting that the teachers here are trying to learn about their students and create a class that speaks to each person involved.
Dear Anjali….I have taught workshops in many places but there was a wondrous atmosphere permeating the walls of your studio, and I can honestly say that your students were amongst the best, but even more than that you transferred a special energy that penetrated each one in the room
Amazing studio with instructors who are the real thing: careful and focused! – Anne K.
