Continuing Education Trainings

If your 200 or 500 hour teacher training left your tastebuds begging for more, congratulations you have caught the yoga bug. Yoga study is the study of the Universal Self within and the way that Self shows up in the world we know. No 200 hour or 500 hour course could satisfy all that is encompassed in yoga study. Continuing education is paramount especially as yoga becomes more recognized in mainstream culture. Learning the philosophical roots, language of Sanskrit, applied kinesiology, basics of ayurveda, and specialty teacher trainings for particular populations can take years of focused and rewarding study. Continue to expand what you have to offer to students through these wonderful courses!

WHAT IS THAI-YOGA BODYWORK?

Traditional Thai-Yoga Bodywork offers the best benefits of both a massage and yoga class. Often called “Lazy Man’s Yoga,” th receiver gets to completely relax as the Practitioner moves them in and out of Yoga-type stretches and rhythmic compressions  along the body’s energy lines. Like a healing martial art, Thai-Yoga Bodywork makes ideal use of bodyweight, physics, and the Practitioner’s palms, thumbs, forearms and even feet. This Yogic approach releases stubborn tension patterns and biomechanical imbalances, leaving the receiver feeling lighter, taller, and amazingly relaxed.

Cost: $295 for the full weekend. $50 discount for graduates of the Jivan Yoga Teacher Training at Baltimore Yoga Village
