Baltimore Yoga Village has been offering evenings of chanting, singing, mantra, and kirtan for years. For us, these practices are essential to a yoga studio environment as they build the energy of the space and the community. Chanting is the fastest way to the heart. It has become increasingly popular in the United States, especially on the West Coast. We have put Baltimore on the map for kirtan by hosting such well known groups as:
And perhaps most importantly, we offer chanting every 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays of the month with local sanghas in our Hampden location, 7 pm. For BYV, every week is Bhakti Fest! Come join voices with us:
1st Sundays - Kirtan with Alex Steele, Adan Ayala, and Adhikari 2nd Sundays - Arati and Chanting the Gayatri Mantra with Adhikari and the Sacha Lineage 4th Sundays- Chanting the Medicine Buddha Mantra with Adhikari and the Sacha Lineage
