Baltimore Yoga Village is more than Baltimore's wellness center; together we are a family circle of healers, artists, teachers, and innovators, who offer a full menu of health and wellness services, including ayurveda, Feldenkreis, massage, meditation, and agnihotra - all with an educational slant, empowering you to take the steps toward a life of greater ease and peace. Many of our practitioners traveled to study in the countries from which the therapies originate, because providing the most authentic, quality services is our passion. 

Community Meditation: Meditation in Maryland  We offer weekly meditation in yogic and Buddhist traditions. Research has shown great psychological and physiological benefits of a regular meditation practice, such as decreased blood pressure, alleviation of anxiety and depression, and increased mental clarity. Meditation prolongs youthfulness and vitality and is considered a more advanced practice than yoga asanas. We highly recommend that serious students of yoga practice meditation regularly.

Corporate and Non-Profit Classes: Yoga at Work
What easier way to integrate yoga into daily life than to bring it to your environment. Baltimore Yoga Village comes to you, offering classes spanning 45-90 minutes. Anjali and Pradeep Teotia have served staff of such notable entities as Johns Hopkins University (ayurveda conference), Villa Maria of Catholic Charities, St. Paul School for Girls, Maryland Coalition of Families for Children's Mental Health, MD Medical Comprehensive Insurance Program, The Canadian Embassy (of New Delhi), and many more. Ayurveda courses and consultations
The word "Ayurveda" is a sanskrit word which consists of "Ayu", and "Veda". "Ayu" means life span. "Veda" means knowledge of science. Ayurveda as a whole is the science which deals with the life span of a human being. Ayurveda protects the health of human beings and cures diseases through herbal remedies. There is a wide range of disorders effectively treated by "Ayurveda", including allergies, arthritis, bronchial asthma and other respiratory problems, dandruff, skin diseases, fatigue, fibromyalgia... and the list goes on. We intend to bring the best ayurvedic specialists in the west for presentations, consultations, and treatments.

1-on-1 Private in studio yoga Sessions
The tradition of yoga began as a conversation between the teacher and student. Whether you are a Beginner gaining understanding of fundamentals or an Experienced student fine tuning postures, a private yoga session will enhance your practice. A 1-on1 private session may also be used for modifying classes around physical challenges. Classes can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Feldenkreis: Awareness through movement (courses offered in short sessions)
By bringing attention to specific rigidities in the body, Awareness Through Movement classes expand body-awareness and provide the body with more comfortable and efficient ways of moving.

Bodywork (call for appointment)
Our therapists are trained in a variety of western and eastern modalities to better facilitate healing, including:

  • Myofascial

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (courses offered in 8 week sessions)
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction offers resources for those with stress-related conditions or chronic pain, and for maintenance of well-being through mindfulness. Sessions include practical techniques, lectures, a 24 hour retreat.

Family Music and Dancing  In many traditions, music and dance are practiced with intention and purpose. We invite artists from many parts of the world to provide healing sounds concerts, instrumental workshops, performances, and family fun.
