Types of Massage

Swedish Massage : A series of long strokes that promote blood flow towards the heart, increasing oxygen flow and sending nutrients throughout the body. Swedish techniques stimulate the circulatory system and relax sore and tired muscles.

Deep Tissue Massage :This massage penetrates deep into underlying muscles and muscle tissue to "unstick" deeply held patterns of tention and get blood and oxygen back to their normal flow. Myofascial Release : The internal human body is covered with muscle fascia. This is very flexible when in its healthy state. Due to traumas (falls, accidents, etc) this muscle fascia becomes very thick and tough. Through sustained pressure, Myofascial Release is known to restore movement and range of motion as well as relieve pain.

Tui-Na : An ancient chinese medical massage that dates back 4000+ years. Tui Na uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. With focus being on specific problems, especially chronic pain associated with the muscles, joints, and skeletal system, Tui-Na also balances emotional with physical problems getting at the cause of stress.

Fertility Massage Intensive : We live in a time when fertility drugs, procedures and operations are in abundance and questionable to the mothers health. By use of a combination of cranial sacral alignment, reflexology, colon cleansing, and deep pelvic work, Ferility Massage offers a natural alternative.

Prenatal Massage: A massage designed to ease the aches and pains associated with pregnancy.

Reiki : Reiki is eastern energetic healing. Going beyond the symptoms to treat the root cause of the problem. When we treat only the symptoms, we do not always get to the true basis of the illness. It is a meditative art and will help you live a more loving and healing life.
