World Music in Baltimore - Washington Metropolitan Area

Kirtan Schedule

Baltimore Yoga Village is one of the leading yoga centers in the Baltimore -  Washington D.C. metropolitan area for kirtan and world music. Kirtan is devotional singing and chanting, typically in Sanskrit language, which focuses the emotional energies towards the higher Self. Chanting can be a cleansing for the soul, calming for the mind, and centering for the heart. You do not need to be a "singer" to chant. It is more key to have a humble heart and open mind, which allows you to fully experience the power of musical vibrations and ancient mantras.  Twice per month,we hold kirtan  at Baltimore Yoga Village. We invite local and legendary artists to lead this yoga of devotion and welcome people of all ages and life conditions to participate.
